Posted by Eli the Alibi , Thursday, December 16, 2010 1:05 PM

Hi Everyone,

We hope your holiday season is treating you well. To ease the tension and spread some good vibes, we're putting on the first ever To-Do Fest Winter Solstice Celebration.

This event will take place from 8-11pm this Friday, Dec. 17 2010 in the big room on the main floor of the Life Arts Center on the corner of University and Lemon in downtown Riverside.

Come check out an amazing lineup of local musicians and artists, including:
A Fold In Green
Shockray Blue
Chris Bryant of Don't Trip
Kusisqa
Hijos De Calisto
Troutbum
Inner Prisms
and more surprise special guests...

See you there!

Donations are always needed to keep this stuff going and appreciated beyond your wildest imagination. Thanks! and Peace

Hi all,

Below is the link to the Paypal donation account. We spent approximately $2,500 out of pocket to put together this year's To-Do, even with everyone volunteering their time and energy (thankyouthankyouthankyou), and since it was mostly student loan and tax return money we're trying desperately to make it back, quite literally to make rent come August.

With the Benefit Show and donations at the Festival we've made $250, which is an amazing start and thank you all so much but there is still a ways to go.

If you support the work we do with Local Action Group of Riverside (LAGR) as well as We Have 1,000 Friends, which at the moment pertains mainly to producing the annual Riverside Summer To-Do Festival, please take a moment and make a donation.

Every little bit makes a difference, and any money collected above the costs for this year's festival will go directly towards funding the next project.

Once we get our 501c3 certification from the Feds we'll be able to provide tax deductible receipts for all donations. That process is currently underway, and requires an additional approximately $400 filing fee (hint hint).

My apologies for the fundraising annoyance. Thanks again for making this year's To-Do so much fun and hopefully a positive experience for everyone there. Until next time, Peace

Most sincerely and gratefully,
Elliott and Ryan
